First post

This is my first blog entry on this site but definitely not my last.
My blog posts will contain my thoughts on movies, old and new but will also look at the socialmedia bit of movies and how the huge movie studios incorporates it.
I saw a video that inspired me to write this post, the video shows how three guys reenact the horrific battle at Normandy. The cool thing about this video is that they create the whole scene with just three ”actors”. The Actors are actually graphic designers.  Instead of my trying to explain the whole scene watch it for yourself here.

What I’m trying to say is that the difference between professional and amateur is no longer miles apart. I can not with all certainty say that these guys are your run of the mill amateurs.

Director Henrik interviewed by Göteborgs-Posten

Our Director has a short interview in today's issue of Swedish daily Göteborgs-Posten (Swedish only):

Vill du betala hans film?

(The heading: "Would you like to pay for his movie?"  We probably wouldn't buy a used car from him, but his movie, yes. :-)

Style-horror-remix

Got this from J M Stover at Artemis. I've seen some literal video remixes but this is by far the best. I wonder how anyone ever thought this to be a cool way of portraying love, to me it's very much old school horror, with lots of smoke, slomo and glowing eyes. If nothing else the pretentious 80's style is horror enoughLaughing A bit long but don't miss the Fonzie-clones, very funny if you ask me.

Mary Poppins scare me, but the Shining is comforting...

So easy to change horror into love, and love into horror. Horror or love?

Love or horror?

Tick tick...

Right now everyone's busy. Carl-Johan & Linus is working on a wonderful animated version of the synopsis. Anders and Per is meeting possible financial supporters. Kami is constantly adding new features to the site with some architectural input from Anders. I'm editing and/or sound editing some presentation videos where we explain the premise of our project. Also I have found an interview with a schizophrenic guy that speaks of how easy it is to mistake his hallucinations for demons or entities. The antipsychotic drugs helps him decide what is real and not to listen to the voices in his head. Fascinating, hope to be able to show it to you next week. Also came up with a brand new ending today. Can't wait to tell you guys about it. But first I've got to give you some scenes to read, first one next week. Promise.

Our interview for filmnyheterna came up today. Scary shit, people will actually be reading my feeble attempts at blogging.

Busy little bees, talk to you soon.

I know this vaderremix isn't new but hey, it's new to me and it's hilarious.

Monday morning

Starting off with a lawyer meeting with Anders. Let me guess - Creative commons will be mentioned. I happened to whine about my recent lack of earnings and they both offered to buy me a big ol' Latte. Looking forward to it. Actually think that Stockholm has some of the worlds best coffee, we make our coffee pretty much like they do in Italy but with a side-order of Swedish thoroughness and snobbism which makes for some pretty great baristas. Cannes let me down big time in the Coffee department. Got some decent espresso at best. Producer Per is busy on another project today, thought I'd get him to write a nice piece on Cannes. Loooots of things happening right now. Too much to tell you about in the morning, I'm such a tease aren't I? Well what do you expect, we're like five days from launch:)
