This is one big experiment: We want to turn the moviemaking business on its head.

Can we make a better film by inviting our audience earlier in the process? Will their participation improve the script, the shooting process and the final film? Can they help us fund parts of the project? And will their participation and interest help the movie find a bigger audience?

Crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, crowdmarketing...

And naturally, the final film we make will be under Creative Commons. Open for everyone in our crowd to view, share and remix as they want. You will in fact have access both to the final film and to the parts that make up the film: shots, sounds, music...

This forces us to figure out other ways to finance our work, to get paid for what we do. Part of it we hope will come from donations and investments from you, our crowd. The major part, still, will have to come from other sources. More to come on what we have in mind concerning financing soon.

We have been talking about this for over six months now. Imagine that today the experiment beings in earnest!
