Short and clear or long and confusing
Thu, 04/16/2009 - 21:26 — HenrikNext week we're supposed to shoot some instructional videos where we explain the point of the project, our vision and what you can expect to find here. I am struggling with the words, it's hard being that short and precise. I thought I'd let off some steam by writing a long and confusing blog about how hard it is to write short and clear statements. But I just changed my mind, I'll just throw the first draft in y'alls faces and see what you think. Come on now guys, comment and improve! Love H

Great hob, crappy writing
Tue, 04/07/2009 - 20:32 — HenrikI'm in love with my new induction hob. It's incredible how fast it is. A bit of a bummer I had to buy three new pots and a large and a small frying pan. I thought my old steel ones would work but they didn't. Silly thing, I actually got reeaally excited about the big pan. It's a Jamie Oliver, and I promise it's not the name itself, I'd like to be more cool about it, but it's just a really cool proper frying pan. Makes me feel like a chef. Another silly turn on. Oh yeah, what about the movie? I had a great meeting with the conceptual artists, Carl-Johan and Linus. Read more
Great writing, crappy stove
Mon, 04/06/2009 - 10:55 — HenrikThis is the place where we’ll be doing a movie. Hopefully together, at least a bit, or else you can just sit back and watch us make fools of ourselves every day. That too can be fun though. Read more
The story thus far
Thu, 04/02/2009 - 18:40 — HenrikHey everybody, here's the story in short. Please tell me what you think, all the best H
THE PACT - THE STORY
Jamie, 19 year's old and a freshman at a small midwestern college, is haunted by visions of demons and bloody victims. These nightmares grow in intensity every night.
She seeks help at the local hospital -- only to find four other college students with her exact visions. They conclude that the visions are an omen: something bad is about to happen. Scared of what that might be, they form a pact, promising to always be by each other’s side. Read more
My nightly freak outs
Thu, 04/02/2009 - 14:58 — HenrikI’ve always loved horror films, but with time I’ve grown just a bit jaded. The latex monster is not enough scary or original or something. Or sometimes scripts revolving around a latex monster aren’t well written enough. As a hobby I’ve been trying to freak myself out at night trying to sleep. In bed I’ve directed many scenes leading to some poor characters unnatural death. I love it. Then I couldn’t help but to fall in love with a character called Jamie and find her a suitable scary opponent. As I like suggestions more than serial killers I decided to go for a demon. Read more
This sucks!
Thu, 04/02/2009 - 07:01 — HenrikI have loads of things to do today, why does my 5 month old son need to go up at 5 am? It's not like he's addicted to CSI reruns or something. Anyway, good work Kami for putting this beautiful blog together. Kami is our webmaster (is that really the coolest title we could find for you?) and a really cool guy. His name is Japanese and means powerful wind or something. I find the connection to Kamikaze reassuring. There need to be an element of risk in filmmaking otherwise it's no good. Read more
